Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - 7on/7off - Contract or Travel

Soliant Health has an opportunity for an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist looking for a night shift opportunity in a hospital setting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible 7on/7off schedule. Prior experience with Meditech is required along with Omnicell. Position: Inpatient Pharmacist
Setting: Hospital
Schedule: Nights - 7on/7off - 9pm to 7am
Key Responsibilities:

• Order Verification: Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
• Supervision: Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Pharmacokinetics: Apply knowledge of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion to optimize patient therapy.
• Consultation: Provide expert advice and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Duration: 13 weeks+, with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Licensing: Valid CA pharmacist license.
• Experience: Must have at least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. Prior experience with Meditech is also required.
• Preference: Local candidates will be given high priority.
