Inpatient Pharmacist Opportunity Western Colorado
A respected hospital in Colorado is in need of a dedicated inpatient pharmacist for a part-time contract role. This position offers 30 hours per week and has the potential to be extended or lead to a full-time placement for the right candidate.
The role is based in a clinical inpatient setting and focuses on pharmacy oversight, technician supervision, and sterile compounding. Ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a structured hospital environment and are confident in their compliance and IV preparation skills.
Job Highlights:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours (approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Term: 8+ weeks, with extension or full-time hire possible
30 hours per week
Travel support available: lodging, mileage, and per diem Hourly rate of 55+
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations within the pharmacy
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Perform IV compounding following USP 797 and 800 protocols
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Sterile compounding experience required
Active Colorado pharmacist license
Clean professional background (no DUIs or disciplinary issues)
