We are seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to join a leading healthcare facility in Asheville, NC for an ASAP start. This 13+ week travel contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity inpatient setting.

Shift: Variable Day/Afternoon Shifts

Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications according to physician orders
Monitor patient medication regimens and provide drug information to medical staff
Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and compliance with regulations
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Perform clinical assessments and offer recommendations on drug therapy
Provide education to staff and patients regarding medication-related concerns
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina pharmacist license
2+ years of current inpatient pharmacy experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with hospital pharmacy systems preferred
