Hospital (Inpatient) Pharmacist - 7on/7off Night Shifts

Soliant Health is looking for a Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in an inpatient pharmacy setting at a nearby hospital. This role is perfect for a pharmacist who excels in a fast-paced hospital environment and is seeking a night shift opportunity.

Position: Hospital Pharmacist (Inpatient)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 13 weeks+, with potential for extension
Schedule: Night shifts (~9:00 PM to 7:30 AM); 10-hour shifts, 7 on / 7 off
Key Responsibilities:

• Order Verification: Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
• Supervision: Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Pharmacokinetics: Apply knowledge of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion to optimize patient therapy.
• Consultation: Provide expert advice and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensing: Valid CA pharmacist license required.
• Experience: Recent inpatient pharmacy experience is essential.
• Preference: Local candidates will be given high priority.
