Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist Day Shift Detroit, MI
We are actively hiring an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 12-week contract role in a sterile compounding home infusion setting. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to apply your clinical and compounding skills in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
(Full-time through end of July, with potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in parenteral drug admixture preparation
Ensure compliance with sterile compounding protocols and USP <797>/<800> standards
Perform clinical monitoring and review of therapy plans
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and nurses to optimize patient outcomes
Ensure accurate dispensing and recordkeeping within regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Active Michigan Pharmacist License
Home infusion or inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Sterile IV compounding experience is mandatory
Experience with parenteral therapy programs and clinical monitoring is required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
