Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Mail Order) Albany, NY

We are seeking a New York Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 4 month contract in Albany.

Schedule: Thursday - Monday 1st Shift (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and fill medication orders for LTC facilities, including packaging and labeling according to regulatory standards.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of medications and supplies.
• Prepare and deliver medication orders to LTC facilities, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve medication-related issues and provide support in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and inventory transactions.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy technician experience, min one year.
• Order Entry experience a plus.
• Fill experience a plus.
• Pharmacy Technician license is a plus, not required.
