Director of Pharmacy - Ridgecrest, CA

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Director of Pharmacy for a full-time, onsite role in Ridgecrest, CA. This is a Monday to Friday position, 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Director of Pharmacy will oversee pharmacy operations, including policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance, but will not be required to take on PIC duties or staffing. The pharmacy hours are 7:00am – 10:00pm daily.

Position details:
• Location: Ridgecrest, CA
• Setting: Full-time Director of Pharmacy
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Pharmacy Hours: 7:00am – 10:00pm daily (DOP not required for on-call)
• Staffing: 5-6 pharmacists and 6-7 technicians, PRN staff available
• Order Entry System: Paragon / Allscripts
• Automation System: Pyxis

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and develop policies and procedures (crosswalk) ensuring regulatory and compliance standards
• Manage pharmacy operations, staff, inventory, and workflow optimization
• Ensure compliance with Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, and Pharmacy Chargemaster
• Supervise use of Paragon/Allscripts for order entry and Pyxis for automation systems
• Oversee the 340B program (managed by a separate team)
• No chemotherapy or compounding required for this role

Requirements:
• Solid experience in Policy & Procedures (crosswalk), Regulatory/Compliance, Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, Pharmacy Chargemaster
• Current CA Pharmacy License required
• Prior Director of Pharmacy (DOP) experience required
• No PIC or staffing duties required for this role
