Position: Pharmacy Manager
Location: Norwich, NY
Duration: Direct Hire
Schedule: Variable, including evenings as needed
Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week
Salary: $52-$80/hour
Relocation: Available for permanent candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Register with the state board of pharmacy as a supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all federal, state, and board regulations, as well as company policies.
• Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory management to meet financial goals.
• Business Development: Engage in activities to promote the pharmacy within the store and the community.
• Team Management: Supervise pharmacy support personnel, including performance reviews, guidance, and training to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
• Patient Care: Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs. Provide counseling on medication use, dosage, interactions, and side effects, while monitoring patient progress.
• Quality Improvement: Maintain and contribute to continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Professional Standards: Ensure a clean, organized workstation and adherence to company standards and legal requirements. Complete continuing education programs as mandated by state law.

Ideal Candidate:

• NY Pharmacist License: Must hold a valid license.
• Immunization Certification: Required.
• Vaccination Experience: Must be comfortable administering all vaccines.
• Leadership Experience: Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
