Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks+ (Temp-to-Hire possibility)
• Schedule: Varied shifts (no overnights), with some weekend shifts required

Duties:

1. Order Verification: Review and verify physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescribed therapies.
2. Medication Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring accurate labeling, packaging, and distribution to hospital units.
3. Clinical Consultation: Provide drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare professionals, optimizing patient care and therapy outcomes.
4. Medication Management: Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, adjusting dosages as necessary based on clinical parameters.

Requirements:

• Active AZ state pharmacist license
• PharmD required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
