Compounding Pharmacist (Maternity Leave Coverage) Nashville, TN
A well-established national home infusion provider is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join their Nashville-based pharmacy team for a maternity leave coverage assignment. This is a 13 to 16-week contract with a supportive, collaborative team in a specialized infusion setting.
Location: Nashville, TN
Type: Short-Term Contract (13–16 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (rotates to 9:30 AM–6:00 PM during on-call coverage)
Start Date: July 1st
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve prescriptions for accuracy and regulatory compliance
Conduct medication assessments based on patient medical records
Verify final compounded prescriptions before delivery
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain quality and workflow
Assess lab data and interpret therapeutic drug levels
Respond to internal and external clinical questions
Assist with on-call responsibilities and leadership coverage as needed
Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and company protocols
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
Active Tennessee pharmacist license
Previous experience with sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and clinical knowledge
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
