A well-established national home infusion provider is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join their Nashville-based pharmacy team for a maternity leave coverage assignment. This is a 13 to 16-week contract with a supportive, collaborative team in a specialized infusion setting.

Location: Nashville, TN
Type: Short-Term Contract (13–16 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (rotates to 9:30 AM–6:00 PM during on-call coverage)
Start Date: July 1st

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve prescriptions for accuracy and regulatory compliance

  • Conduct medication assessments based on patient medical records

  • Verify final compounded prescriptions before delivery

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain quality and workflow

  • Assess lab data and interpret therapeutic drug levels

  • Respond to internal and external clinical questions

  • Assist with on-call responsibilities and leadership coverage as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and company protocols

    Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy

  • Active Tennessee pharmacist license

  • Previous experience with sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy highly preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and clinical knowledge

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills
